Winn Reading awarded $25,000 grant from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation
Happy New Year! I'm so happy to kick off the New Year with some wonderful news:
Winn Reading has been awarded a $25,000 grant from Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) to support our literacy work with students across Cincinnati.
This support will help us continue and strengthen our efforts to provide one-on-one reading mentorship and literacy resources for children at Mt. Washington School, Sands Montessori and Rothenberg Academy. It will also enable us to continue growing our summer literacy program. And ultimately, it is a meaningful affirmation of the work our mentors, staff and supporters make possible every day!
GCF connects generous people with trusted nonprofits to create a vibrant tri-state region where every person has a fair opportunity to thrive. We are thankful to be part of that shared commitment to our community.
Thank you for believing in Winn Reading and for being part of a nonprofit that continues to show up for children learning to read. We are excited about what this support will allow us to do next. Wishing you all a wonderful start to 2026.
With gratitude,
